The split the chain applies, not the one the mint stores.
When a tokenized stock splits, Token-2022 applies the new multiplier at runtime. The mint still stores an older field. Apps that read the stored number are wrong.
Owed measures that gap, publishes it as an auditable feed, and settles corporate actions on the value the runtime actually applies.
